Nappee Premie (PB) diapers are not simply a smaller version of a standard diaper — they are designed specifically for the premature and very low birth weight stage. Here is what sets them apart as baby diapers for premature babies:
The Premie size includes a specially designed cutout at the front of the diaper, keeping the waistband away from the healing umbilical cord stump. This is a feature specifically designed for newborn diapers for premature babies and babies in the first weeks of life.
These velcro baby diapers use adjustable, re-fastenable tabs that allow you to check the fit and reposition without wasting a diaper. For a premature baby who needs frequent changes and a precise fit, tape style baby diapers are the most practical choice. These tape style baby diapers and velcro baby diapers give parents full control over the fit at every change.
The Premie (PB) size fits babies weighing up to approximately 3 kg — covering both premature babies and very small newborns. For parents specifically looking for diapers for premature babies upto 2 kg or diapers for premature babies upto 1.5 kg, this size is the appropriate starting point. In both cases, premie baby diapers in Tape & Velcro style offer the best fit. For diapers for premature babies upto 1.5 kg, the Premie size remains suitable, and for diapers for premature babies upto 2 kg, the adjustable Tape & Velcro fastening ensures a secure fit at every change.
The diaper's construction is designed to absorb and manage urine effectively, helping keep your baby's skin comfortable during everyday use.
Nappee diapers carry the Bureau of Indian Standards IS 17509 certification, confirming they meet India's established safety standards for baby diapers.

Why parents choose Nappee
Parents choose Nappee for three reasons: BIS-certified safety (IS 17509), up to 12 hours of leak protection from a multi-layer absorbent core, and a soft, breathable top sheet and back sheet designed to reduce rash risk on a baby's sensitive skin.

This certification verifies the diaper meets defined safety, absorption, and material-quality requirements before it can be sold in the Indian market. Every Nappee pack carries this certification.
